Tips for Baby’s Closet
Maximize space for your baby’s clothes and gear with these tips.
Sort: You’ve probably received clothing ranging from baby’s first day to their second year. Divide clothing by size, storing those for when baby gets bigger out of the way. Rotate sizes as your little one grows.
Plan: Have baby’s clothes ready for the next day or even the next week using shelving. Place each day’s outfit (or outfits) on different shelves. If you have more than more than one child, this planning will make your busy week with two wee-ones that much easier.
Use adaptable shelving: Something like wire shelving adapts to your needs and allows you to maximize space as well as easily change your closet’s structure as baby grows.
Use the doors: Hooks on the back of the doors can be used to organize hats, hair accesssories and other small items.
Use Bins: Once you’ve sorted each items by age-category, use bins at the bottom or top of the closet to sort sizes that you aren’t ready for or that you’ve already used.
