Beautiful September 29, 2022 Reviewer: Carol the Cooke from Bloomington, MN   I desperately needed an island in my counter-space-deficient kitchen but all of the nice, quality ones were out of my budget. Excellent addition to my kitchen September 29, 2022 Reviewer: Tollirary from Northeast Flori   I'm using a 3-shelf unit with the butcher block top as a kitchen island/work station.  It is just what I needed - compact, extremely sturdy, attractive and highly utilitarian.  The butcher block top seems to be good quality. Worked Perfect August 12, 2017 Reviewer: JThayer   We purchased this for an old wire rack that was from target years ago. With this top we now have a classy looking island in our new kitchen. Fit just right, and seems to be great for the price. FYI, the top side has a slightly rounded over edge, while the bottom side has a cut edge. So you could still flip it over and use the other side in the future, but might want to hit it with some sandpaper to ease the edge and avoid splinters. Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent, functional addition September 26, 2014 Reviewer: Camille from Pittsburgh, PA United States   I have a tiny kitchen in an old house. This block was exactly what I've been looking for to literally quadruple my prep space. It's attractive and extremely sturdy. A little wiggly at first but as I use it more it gets steadier and steadier. It completely validates my choice of using a wire rack to increase the functionality of my little kitchen.
