Our individually-sold Rubber Threaded Casters are perfect when you only need one or two, or an odd number for your wire shelving unit.

  • 1/2"dia bolt with 12 threads per inch screws into bottom of Shelving Inc. brand 1"dia post
  • Provides shock and vibration absorption
  • Swivels 360 degrees for easy maneuvering
  • Step-lock brake for controlling movement when not in use
  • Non-marring, won't scuff floors
  • Adds 1" of width to each side of wire shelving unit
  • *May not be compatible with other brands
  • *For stability, not recommended for use with 8"d wire shelving units

I attached, with no trouble at all, the 3" casters.  I'm using them on a 24 x 60 x 84 unit with 6 shelves.  It's loaded with plastic boxes full of fabric and I can move it with no effort at all.  It's located in an area that requires it to be moved from time to time and I'm so thrilled at how well the casters work!

These castors roll so nice.  They are gentle on our flooring which is a mixture of slate and hardwood.  I love the locking feature.

I purchased the wheels so I could clean under and around the shelf without unloading.  They are well constructed, and roll smoothly.  I purchased the heavy duty 4 inch wheels.  Past experience helped me to omitted the light weight wheels.

I was disappointed when I couldn't find a cheaper one around.  Tried some of the big box hardware stores but the sizes didn't fit.  Found these and they fit perfectly.
