This hanger rail matches the depth (front-to-back) of your wire shelving to add stability to the unit, allowing larger spaces between shelves. You may also use this product as a guard rail on the sides of each shelf to prevent items from falling. Another option would be to use a hanger rail to attach utility hooks for extra accessories. Well made, sturdy, packaged well, but too long for the 24" wide shelving unit that I purchased from this site a few years prior that actually measures 23 1/2" wide.  Not sure what I will do with this now.  It is too expensive to ship back.

Theshelvingstore website has a time lag on their website which is annoying and their 15% coupon for wire shelving was expired when I tried to use it. But as usual their customer svc handled the situation PERFECTLY.  A while ago I received an incorrect error and again their customer service came through. I do not hestitate to use this company and highly recommed them.
