I had worried the rod might be too slippery for the brackets to hold it well, but the brackets grip the rod with surprising firmness. It is wonderfully sturdy and attractive-looking too.

I love this company and will buy more in the future. This rod however, I was suprised to learn doesn't hand in the center of the shelf. It is meant to be slightly forward or slightly to the rear

this is a very nice product. I was able to turm one of my many chrome shelves into a clothes rack. I was so impressed with this, I ordered 2 more in different sizes.

The customer service person helped me figure out that this product is compatible with my Seville brand shelving. It is easy to set up, but I found that the bar is just a bit unstable, as it can be pushed through the brackets (there's nothing to stop it on either end). It's not a huge deal for me, as this is intended for storage of winter clothing in the basement in a low traffic area. It seems lik
